Ennour Municipality in Tunisia recently launched its first Voluntary Local Review (VLR), becoming the second municipality in North Africa to do so. The launch was a collaborative effort involving UN-Habitat, Ennour Municipality, Kasserine Governorate, the Ministry of Economy and Planning of Tunisia, and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UNESCWA).
