The event will highlight the crucial role of the Partnership Platform in unlocking local climate action through multilevel governance and policy coherence – contributing to build policies and instruments that are action-oriented, catalytic, and aligned with national climate strategies. Promoting synergies with the Local2030 ‘Road to Belem’ process which is aiming at bringing the localization agenda close to the debates at COP30 and therefore drawing upon the experiences of participating governments, the Event will also highlight how multilevel climate action, driven by coherent policies, empowered local actors, and targeted investment, can accelerate the transition toward sustainable, resilient, and low-carbon territories, turning national climate commitments into tangible local results.
