The 2025 Local and Regional Governments Forum (LRGF) is a Special Event in connection with the HLPF. The event is organized by the Global Task Force of Local and Regional Governments (GTF), DESA, UN-Habitat, UNDP and the Local2030 Coalition under the overarching theme “A networked multilateralism for present and future generations: Local governments at the heart of the countdown to 2030”.

This event is open to all registered participants of the 2025 HLPF. Member states delegates, UN Staff, and other stakeholders who have a valid UN Grounds Pass are welcome to attend the event in person without registration.
